January 1861: Fernando Wood returns to power as Mayor of New York City.
02- John Linnell - Fernando Wood
April 1861: Mayor Wood proposes the establishment and secession of the city state of Tri-Insula, consisting of Manhattan, Staten Island, and Long Island.
03- Muse - Knights of Cydonia
October 31, 1861: The Mystic Knights of Cydonia try and fail to prevent Mayor Wood from sacrificing himself to an ancient evil. Upon his resurrection as the Zombie King, all of the great, secret order are slain save one, Nathanial Wingate III, who escapes to warn the world of the coming zombie onslaught.
04- The White Stripes - Seven Nation Army
1861-1863: The Federalist States of America and the newly formed Confederacy put aside their differences to join forces against the undead legions. They are joined in preparation by forces from Canada, England, France, Spain, and Russia. Tri-Insula festers and grows.
05- The Pillows - Advice
July 4, 1863: The fields of Gettysburg run red with the blood of the living as they valiently confront Wood's army in the last major defensive of the Seven Nation Army. Wingate is ordered to retreat with a warning to Washington and only just escapes.
06- Explosions in the Sky - A Song for Our Fathers
August 13, 1863: DC, weakened by the complete blockade of zombies that surround it, puts together a final unit of soldiers to punch through to the south and gain escape for the president. Just as the brave coalition platoons are about to strike, the blockade lurches into synchronized movement and closes upon the city from all directions. Wingate himself spirits Lincoln into the sewers to try a covert escape, but loses him to pursuers at the last moment. Nathan, lost and alone with only his gun, his saber, and his guitar, steals a horse from behind enemy lines and flees to the hills of Virginia.
07- Morcheeba - Fragments of Freedom
1864-1869: Just as Washington, DC was left a burning, hellish pit of despair, cities fall one by one all across the east coast. Richmond, Charlotte, Charleston, Miami, New Orleans, and finally, completely surrounded, Atlanta. In light of the government's fall, the slaves are emancipated, and a general call is given for all, black and white together, to flee. Many make it to the frontier, but many more fall along the way. The Zombie Legion grows with every victory.
08- Led Zeppelin - Going to California
1868-1872: Nathanial Wingate III makes his way west through Kentucky and beyond. His dreams are haunted by a woman's beautiful, red face calling to him from the sunset. Against all reason, she is his only hope.
09- Muse - Invincible
April 21, 1872: Wingate, leading a coalition of indian tribes, finds Princess Miniwatha deep in the Arizona Territory and recognizes her instantly. The great Ghost Dance is performed by the United Tribes of America to empower Nathanial and his love with the power of the gods. Demons emerge to stop the ceremony but are destroyed by the Silver Couple.
10- Man or Astro-man? - Principles Unknown
February 18, 1876: A contingient of the Zombie Legion, converts from the Russian conscripture of 1863, descend upon the United Tribal Army as they make their way east. A great battle ensues, but the native men and women fight fiercely and win.
11- The Red Elvises - Bring His Guitar to Me / Saha
May 1873: Mayor Wood recieves word of his army's first defeat ever and recognizes the Warchief to be the survivor of his own dark ritual, touched by destiny for having been there, and enacts a decree that Wingate and his forces be destroyed. The entire Zombie Legion is mobilized from the ruins of the fallen states to form a series of defensive layers between Tri-Insula and any who might try to reach it.

1873-1880: The United Tribal Army slowly pierces layer upon layer of Wood's unholy legion, slaying all who oppose them, even their own fallen comrades. Eventually, they are driven to a standstill in the wastelands of upstate New York, forcing Wingate and his bride to covertly forge ahead on their own.
14- Radiohead - You and Whose Army?
January 1881: Nathan and Princess Miniwatha make their way to the Hudson River, assailed by the taunting thoughts of the Zombie King all the way.
15- JG Thirlwell - Brock Graveside
Fabruary 13, 1881: The Destined Couple arrive on the shores of Manhattan to find its undead inhabitants lining the streets, a clear path marked to the mayors' residence. In silence the only two people on the entire island with beating hearts and moving blood make their way to the obvious showdown that has been issued them.
16- Muse - Take A Bow (Symphonic Mix)
February 14, 1881: Nathan confronts Fernando Wood upon the roof of his mansion, Miniwatha radiating waves of light behind him. A saber battle rages, sparks of brilliant light and sickly darkness flying with every blow turned aside. With a final burst of speed, Nathan pierces the King's black heart with his blade, and a white blast of energy consumes them both, and just as quickly anihilates all in it's path for 100 miles in every direction.
17- Genesis - Supper's Ready
1881~1981: Nathanial's immortal soul awakens to remember every incarnation before and after the Zombie War and sees Miniwatha with him in every one, a cycle of death and rebirth in every life, and they choose to break the cycle before it can begin again.

October 28, 2009: Closing credits and images of Dick Cheney researching the dark powers that once were...
